The short version

Realism, designed for you.

Dylan has been tattooing for [fourteen] years. He started on the South Coast, moved to Sydney to push his skills, and in [2015] opened Atlantis Tattoo Studio, now in Port Kembla on the NSW South Coast.

His portfolio runs from great whites and old fishermen to Australian landscapes, portraits and dark, surreal back pieces, in black and grey and colour.

How he works

Custom work, full days.

Every piece is designed by Dylan from your idea, then tattooed over full days. There’s no flash and no walk-ins: the studio is private and you have his full attention for the day.

Large work like sleeves and back pieces is planned as one composition from the first session, then built up over several days a few weeks apart. [Dylan: a line about how you design.]

"[A line from Dylan, in his own words, about why he tattoos realism.]"

The water

Most days off, he is on the boat.

Dylan grew up travelling around Australia and fishing whenever he could, and most days off are still spent on the water. Sharks, fishermen, ships and deep water turn up again and again in his work. [Dylan: a few lines in your own words about the ocean and your work.]

Away from the chair

Family and the coast.

He lives on the coast with his wife and son. [Anything else Dylan wants to share.]
